mesh:
Rnd 7: *Ch 3, sk 1
sc, sc in next* Repeat from * (18 ch 3 spaces made)
Rnd 8-30: *Ch 3,
sc in next ch 3 space* Repeat from *
Handles:
Rnd 31: 3 sc in
each ch 3 sp (54 sc)
Rnd 32-33: Sc
around
Rnd: 34: Chain the length of the desired handle. I like
to keep them fairly short for the wine tote, 20-30 chs. Attach to opposite side with sl st without
twisting chain. I usually attach it a couple of stitches to the left from the
exact middle position on that side to even out the handle placement. If you
skip 29 stitches, this would give you that slightly off to the left position.
Rnd: 34-37: sl st in next 2 sc. Turn. Sc length of ch
Finishing:
Optional Rnd: Rev
sc around
Finish off, weave in ends.
Optional: Weave a ribbon through the mesh for interest.
Cheers!
